What Others Say About Darlene
I first met Darlene when I took her morning classes at a local fitness centre. She was fun, and her workouts were challenging and made me sweat off some of the extra baby weight I carried since having my twin boys. I started to fall back into a nice workout routine.
Then life happened – I went back to work – stopped working out and ate my way through the new stress of being a working mom- After awhile I decided to track Darlene down, took a kettle bell class with her – and knew I needed more. So, I hired her as my personal trainer and it changed how I viewed workouts, fitness and being in good physical shape.
I am not really a cardio person, but I like weights and really sweating it out. I dreaded the cardio portions of my workouts- as many do. Darlene taught me you didn’t need to run on a treadmill to burn calories. She was able to develop programs for me that burned more fat and calories than I ever did running on a treadmill – all the while working my muscles with a multitude of different techniques and equipment.
Her bootcamp classes, paired with some personal training have really helped to get me back on track. I feel like the “old me” is coming back, and my confidence with it. I till have a long way to go – but I am getting there.
I find Darlene not only highly motivating, fun and knowledgeable, but she is also kind, honest and very accommodating to her clients, which is very important for a new mom of twin boys. This is her passion and it shows.
Darlene is an awesome trainer – I cannot say enough - other than thank you Darlene, for all your hard work and efforts!!!
